Although David got a nice bite from his jointer, I call it a “close call” because I can only imagine how much worse his injury could have been.

Barbecue Station Complete

Barbecue Station Complete

This was a fun project. The most difficult part was deciding what to include and what NOT to include in the final product. But given the time, monetary, and audience restrictions of the 48 hr challenge, this is a good compromise and a project that many folks would enjoy making.

Completed John Hall Frame

Well here it is folks: the Hall Frame reproduction. This was an incredibly fun project and was one that had a profound effect on me. Having actual contact with the original piece (made in 1909) and creating a reproduction in 2009 just made this project that much more special to me.

Designing Myself Into A Corner

Designing Myself Into A Corner

Variations on a Theme

Variations on a Theme

A couple of folks decided to take a seed of inspiration, and let it blossom into their own beautiful creations. But one thing I have noticed about myself over the years is that I have a touch of power tool guilt.
