Classy Headphone Controller Rack

Video - March 18, 2021

When I looked around at headphone and controller racks to go with my RGB Gaming Desk, the products I found were either 3D printed plastic or large stands that took up valuable desk space. So I decided to design a classy-looking wall-mounted rack that would happily hold and display my controller and headphones. I started by making sure the utility was there and then shaped the parts with curves I found appealing. It’s a great addition to my PC gaming setup. If you don’t have the time or tools to build your own using the free plans below, you can buy one from us for a limited time. These actually take a lot more work than anticipated so I don’t know how long we’ll continue making them so get ’em while you can!

Right-Click and “Save As” to download files. Left-click will only open the file in your browser.

CNC DXF File does not download as a dxf; it is a text(?) file. How do I get the dxf downloaded as a dxf file?

  Really not sure. I’m on a mac and it downloads as a DXF file for me. Maybe try a different browser and see if that changes the behavior?

    A DXF file is a txt file. To download in Chrome right-click and Save Link As.

  Right click, choose “save link as…” and pick the location you want to save the file.

  I think you can right click on the link and click on Save Link As.. to save it as a DXF.

  You tried to left-click on it, and the browser doesn’t know how to properly read a .dxf (obviously). Right click the link, then there should be a ‘save link as’ option. Hope this helps! :)

Tried to download the cnc files on both microsoft edge and firefox and still cant download them. It pulls up a seperate window with the code in it.

I could not get this to download on my phone with safari so i went to my mac and tried firefox i was all text. So I went to safari and right clicked and downloaded linked file and tried to open it but it was still text. So I looked at the saved file name and for some reason it is saved as .dxf.txt so I removed the .txt and left the .dxf and now i can open it. Hope that helps. I’m not sure how it will work for pc as i could not get it to download with firefox on my mac.

a dxf must be imported into your gcode editor. I imported it fine into fusion360.
