Every year, woodworking sites go to great lengths to entertain us with their April Fools jokes, and I always seem to miss a few. Not this year! I’m on the hunt for every woodworking-related April Fools joke I can find. And I’m going to post it here so you don’t miss it either. Hope you enjoy! On the pocket dovetailer video the guy says “I like to use a Sharpie marker because it’s a lot easier to see when I’m working” Absolutely hilarious!!!

(OK, grammatically, it should be Mizika*kute* yaku ni tatanai which would mean “short and useless”…but who’s counting? Great posts.)

The Veritas Pocket Dovetailer is such a cool idea. I keep a chisel, Dovetail Saw, Marking Knife, a Vice and spare wood in the out house instead of magazine. I think it would be a great idea.

Now the Sissy stick. It would be cool too, if only it would work with Hand Saws. Those Disston D8 scares the saw dust out of me.
