This media console named after my son includes a waterfall edge, sliding bypass doors, push to open doweled drawers, a river of bubinga (is there any finer?) and more. I was inspired by the works of Jory Brigham and Greg Klassen. To build the waterfall edge I used floating mortise and tenon, aka the domino. I used stop dados to build the other aspects of the case. I routered 2 grooves for the sliding bypass doors. I did a coved design on the doors on the table saw. I routered in slots in the back for power cords and venting for electronics. I applied 3 coats of arm-r-seal to finish out the build. Thanks for looking. |
