Having followed you for years I know you will land on your feet. Used to have a Powermatic Table saw but had to sell it when I moved to AZ – limited shop space. Will look at SawStop if I ever get back to power tool woodworking. All the best.

Hi Marc,
So sorry to hear about your loss. :-(

You tested Air Quality Monitors several years ago. Did you every find one that was affordable and reliable? If so, would you share that info with me. I’ve been diagnosed with a lung disease and am trying to make my shop as dust free as possible and the air quality monitors I’ve tried are not reliable.

Thanks for your help! Great shows btw . . . I’ve learned a lot watching you and I’ve been doing constructionand woodworking for over 40 years!

Evrything, I’ve a powwrmatic no. 66, about 40 yr old. Can’t keep fence true. Have to clamp both ends no luck adjusting, any thought? Local are is dry. Thanks love your show and enjoy family when you have them on.

  Hmm that’s tricky to figure out without actually being there to see what’s going on. Sounds like something is up with the cam lock assuming your operates on that same style system. Sometimes, the fence will have small nylon adjusters you can use to tighten it up. That’s what usually dictates how loose or tight it is on the rail and can also impact how snug it gets when the handle is pushed down. If the fit is just too loose, consider getting a small strip of adhesive-backed plastic like HDPE and put that on the cam mechanism. That might help take up the gap.
