Its not much more than a one car garage. I am running all my tools off of two electrical outlets and a lot of extension cords. Even though its small, its a lot better than what I was previously working out of which was only a car port.

So until the day comes when I can move to a 2 or 3 car garage, this is my shop!

I remember the winter I built some bedside tables in my car port. I had 4 mil plastic wrapped around the polls to keep the cold wind out. That didn’t do much for the bitter cold though.

Glad to see you have upgraded to a shop. It is great to have your own “room” isn’t it?

Wow, I thought I had it bad in a two and a half Garage. It is bad for lighting,as well as for finishing projects. I ran another two dedicated electrical lines to stop the brackers from tripping. I see yours and i’m just in awh, on how little room there is. Although you do have a better selection of tools then what own. I have many projects I still want to do. When I have the time, it always seems that my health stops me.
I’m just impressed on the small area you have for tools and work.

Yes its a great place to just get away. I look back on the pics and think. Dang I have done so much since I sent the shop pics in.

You look like you have it laid out well.
I have a 2.5 car garage dedicated for a shop (sorry to my wife for kicking out the cars).

I just can’t get it laid out right. Need to heat it and insulate. I haven’t done anything for weeks here in the Chicago Area. :(

Maybe I’ll hit the forums for suggestions :)

I think it is great, my first shop was small, then my next was bigger, and so on and so on. Now I have the shop of my dreams and love every min I’m in it. I can see you are organized and do nice work based on the pictures, so keep doing what you are going.

Kapex and kreg track and stops, nice combo. Have you set any mitre slots in the outfeed table yet?

I agree. the selection of tools not to shabby. I’m working out of a 2 car garage that houses me tools,kids toys motorcycle and all my field gear for my duty weekends. my only means of staying functional is most of my big tools are on casters,and my planer chop saw and scroll saw all reside undernieth my assembly table. thats the only way for me to maximize assembly and work area. I can’t even wonder how Mr Lance can work without constantly bumping into something all the time,proper ventilation, and just being cramped. Add some more square footage bro.

Nice shop! Nicer Tools!! I love my Festool track saw. How do you like the Incra Fence system on your Table Saw? I have been interested in this for some time, but haven’t had any reviews of it.

Thank you all for the great compliments on the shop. The out feed table double as my work bench. It has two vices and dog holes. I havent gotten around to the miter slots. The incra TS fence is great. This is the second one I have put on a Ridgid table saw. My step moms was the first. I cant see how I went 2+ years with out it. IMHO its the best TS fence ever.

  How do you keep your Incra TS fence square? I often find mine is a degree or two off. I square it up lock it down to the front rail with the thumb screw and then when I loosen it and adjust for the next cut its out of square. Doh!
  I love the micro adjustability but think there are too many parts where something can get out of whack and aluminum is not as ridged as iron.

At least it’s clean and organized! My shop is roughly twice the size and looks like a bomb hit the place.
