The shop started as a stand alone garage with attached office. I added a 20 x 36 addition to it. The new for our Yorkies, office for wife’s craft room and garage for me, or so I though. Yorkies got new plus office, the wife got 1/3 of garage, me what was left. As my space got smaller her’s got larger. So I added a 18 x 20 addition off the garage door for a new shop.The router table, drill press, small belt sander and scroll saw remain in the old shop, for now.

In photo 7 I see 8 eyes eyeing your work space. Hope you are able to hold on to it.
Your Craftsman belt/disk sander looks like one I bought used. I never figured out how to raise the belt to vertical. Any hints you can give me?

Nice shop. Is that a load bearing wall in the first picture? If it is you might want to rethink the header. Especially if you have a snow load to contend with.

hey i see you have a dust collection system for your dewalt planer… i think i have the same planer, however i did not know there was a dust collection
can you tell me the details about it

A custom tablesaw housing, custom router table and lift, custom mitersaw table. I like it. These are all things I am hoping to achieve. The mitersaw table; how do you have the support for the wing setup? I have seen several different ideas but haven’t settled on one yet.

your shop looks like the shop we all have but dont want. if your like me then you want everything to perfectly orderly clean and well built to look like it came out of a magazine. but instead we rig things up to be what we need. find stands and bases to do the job rather then being perfect. and lots small side projects and unfinished ideas taking up space. you shop is like mine down and dirty and does the job.
