My shop is in a two car garage which also shares some space with the mower (sigh). I hope to eventually build a storage shed in the backyard in order to remove all of the lawn junk… My little piece of serenity.

A two car garage with a relatively low ceiling.
That is the same configuration I I have to work with for a shop. What do you like or dislike about the placement of your tools and benches?
Your shop seems open and spacious for the size – looks like a place things can get done.

I have about the same size shop. In addition to the lawn mower, I have my wife’s car. It makes for a great deal of wasted time moving equipment around.

I wish this Brian’s shop was as clean as yours.

Good level of organization. Make me feel like a loser for my total fail on getting my shop properly organized.

Nice shop with some nice tools as well. It appears to have plenty of natural lighting during the daytime but, how do the portable shop lights work out at night or were those just for the photo? Your ventilation system seems to be much like mine which is two doors open for a cross breeze. My biggest problem with that system are the bugs that are attracted to the lights at night. Is that an issue for you?

  The shop light are kind of a drag because I need to move them around the shop. When I film my podcast it’s an extra PITA to move the lights around for each “scene”. Over head lights are on my wish list.
  I do get a nice draft from the through breeze and I have an industrial sized fan. But you are correct, the bugs can be a problem.

Nice shop. Mine is a 2 car attached garage also. I really like the big work table in the center that’s doing at least triple duty! I may have to do something like that to save space also. Thanks for the idea!
