I'm pretty stoked about the new Unisaw. I've always wanted a Unisaw, but I also want a riving knife. Problem solved! If it truly is made in the USA, all the better. If not for this new Unisaw, I probably buy a Grizzly machine.

Thanks for the great marketing information, Nicole. I've recently read discussions about this in online forums. There was a lot of good advice, but not nearly as complete as yours. And such wisdom is applicable far beyond the woodworking world.

That woodworking conference sounds great, but I don't think I can get to Kentucky this fall. Bummer.

Oh yeah, and I am now registerd for WIA. Can't wait, let's all get together and have a beer while we are there. I'll need someone to keep an eye on me around the exhibitors. I might just spend myself to death if not kept in check.

Hey guys thanks for answering my question. An since Matt has no problems with this:

Come check out my blog!

http://rogersfinewoodworking.com/blog

I am just getting started and have put up mostly random thoughts and a few projects. I did however just put up a photojournal of my latest trip to the Winterthur Museum. Some great pictures of stunning period furniture up there now. I have some great ideas coming this summer including a trip to the Lie Nielsen factory in ME. Stop by and tell me what you want to see.

Even with Woodcraft's sale, Amazon, considering shipping and sales tax, is still cheaper for the Whiteside bits—by about 10%.
