The Zombie Whisperers

Nicole decided to have us Zombified! We met a cool guy named Len at the New Media Expo who is apparently an artist. He does these drawings on the side at Monsters by Mail. Enjoy the little video!

    WOW Scary!
that guy’s drawing abilities were almost as good as your super chiseling abilities in you last episode! drew your head a bit big though, lol!

  2. Sunshine Gerl says:

That is quite cool!!! That person sure can draw fast…LOL!!!

  3. Jim Jones says:

Watching him drawing is funny stuff.

  4. TedM says:

So he just did Nicole as a zombie and you as you? LOL! Just kidding!

    Cool picture!

  5. Frank says:

Exactly, Zombie Marc and regular Marc are pretty much the same – explains many things.

  6. Flattering me will get you nowhere, good sirs! ;)

  7. Rob says:

    That’s more than a little disturbing…

  8. Allen in Ohio says:

Len from Jawbone radio… I knew he did artwork but wasn’t aware of the whole Monster by Mail thing. I just may have to look into that as a possible anniversary present. If I remember correctly 5th anniversary was wood, 6th is the rampaging bloodthirsty undead.

And I’m not 100% sure, but the song in that video sounded a lot like Jonathan Coulton who is a big favorite of mine and wrote another song that is, to my mind, the definitive song about zombies entitled “Re: Your Brains.”

  9. Matthew Hills says:

Cool tidbit. Song was a great touch.
Did a search on some of the lyrics, and found this info:

“This song was written for Round 2 of the Masters of Song Fu Challenge. In this particular round, our task was to write a song in the style of Jonathan Coulton.” (http://www.paulandstorm.com/lyrics/live/)

  10. Allen Lindsey (AlleninOH) says:

That makes sense, since Jonathan Coulton tours and plays a lot with Paul and Storm. Also forgot, Len designed a cool tattoo for another one of my favorite podcasts, Hometown Tales. Wow, The Woodwhisperer, Jonathan Coulton and Hometown Tales all converging… it’s like all my favorite new media things converging. My mind is blown!

  11. Len says:

Allen, don’t forget I also drew all of Coulton’s Things-A-Week and released them in book form, created the JoCo Coloring book, designed Paul and Storm’s “News to Us’ Cd and also contributed to John Hodgman’s 700 Hoboes Project.

But I’m sure you already knew that. ;)
