Rockler Deals
February 13, 2008 | Filed Under Blog
There was a very positive response the last time I posted some great deals I found at Rockler, so I will continue to do so whenever I see deals that make me feel like hopping into my pickup and running over to my local store. And just in case you don’t know, we are a Rockler affiliate and any purchases made through these links will help to support the show.

Got something to say?

Nice!
THanks for the heads up…
I know that you can make your own shelf pin jig easily enough, but for $20, I think I’d rather spend that time making the shelves than the jig to drill the holes… I might have to jump on that one.
I’m fairly new to woodworking (oh, fantastic site, BTW) and a Rockler opened last year just down the road from me. What a great store. I’ve learned a lot from the experts at the store, and spent quite a bit of change there as well. And Rockler, it seems, is a KING in the marketing world. They REALLY know how to keep their customers coming back. If you haven’t already, sign up for their Rewards program, as you get gift certificates in your email periodically.
last Thanksgiving they worked with Bosch to provide a great deal on a trim router/jigsaw combo for something like $140. Problem is it was too popular and they were sold out the day BEFORE the ad came out. I gave the guy at Rockler my name and number, because he told me he was going to contact corporate to find out if they’d be getting more. About 5 weeks later I get a call from Rockler Corporate, telling me they had a new combo, for the same price but with an upgraded version of the jigsaw and a variable speed version of the trim router, and told me they’d have one available at the store for me. Let’s see Home Depot give that kind of service! Needless to say I stopped by on the way home :-)
