Perhaps you should feign amnesia and say that you actually bought that table and then build another, less fabulous table and put that in the auction.

Pretty cool, considering you only used a scroll saw pretty much as far as power tools.

You know whats great about this…It kicks the thought of “eh pine” out the door. Just goes to show that it’s not the wood, it’s the worker. I think I should pantent that.

Runningwood, the top is secured to the base with #6 3/4 or 1″screws, two for each leg then plugged with pine plugs. Thanks all for the kind words. As I said, I really like doing these kinds of challenges as it ends up being more of a design challenge then a construction one.

Very nice table. Just looking at the pic I would have never guessed it was made from a single pine board!!

When I clicked to the first picture with the finish applied from the one before, I was stunned. Very nice and clever use of one board.
