So did he know who you were? Has he ever watched the podcast? If so did he tell you to stop razing him about all the brad nails he uses?

Also did you try to hit him up about coming on to your show?

Nice Marc! …”I’m never gonna wash that hand again”…

You should have slipped him one of those Photoshop pics that Nicole did, with your face on his head…signed by you!

But, I look forward to you posts! Why not, any words? Are you on vacation?

I bet that goes on your wall!!

How cool is that?!?!!!! I remember reading (or listening) about your comments with regard to Norm and how you would like to meet him one day. And to have him know about you… very cool!

Marc (and Nicole)… congrads on “taking the bull by the horns” and doing what you want to do… getting out there and working hard to do what you love. It’s definitely paying off (or at least it seems that way to me). I look forward to continually visiting your site and seeing you on FWW.com.

    Marc,

It was a pleasure to meet you at the AWFS event in Las Vegas. As I said then, your podcasts are nothing short of great, clearly reflect your time with David Marks, and are a welcomed resource for woodworkers. I too made the obligatory pilgrimage to meet Norm (play “Hallelujah Chorus” here), shook his hand and dared to ask him how many divorce actions he has been named in. After all, how many men have said to their wives, “But Norm has one!”

Next year we will all be in “Meet TWW” line:)

    Marc,

The real question is did Norm take any shots at you about your comments of his use of the brad nailer? You did mention previously that he knew who you were and that he’s seen your podcast. Did he give you the evil look? Maybe he didn’t catch that episode of the Wood Talk Online.

Marc, seeing the picture of you and Norm is really awesome. People, including myself, can say what they want about Norm and his at times less than heirloom furniture projects, but Norm has probably done more to contribute to the home woodworking industry than anyone. Between his work on This Old House and New Yankee Workshop, he’s been a force that has not only inspired people to take up woodworking, but also has probably kept a lot of people working at Delta and elsewhere employed. If it weren’t for Norm, I wouldn’t have bought my unisaw and taken this endeavor seriously. Congratulations

It was a pleasure meeting you and Nicole at the AWFS. We’re so glad that it turned out despite loosing your voice. Hopefully, next time they will put you on the quiet side of the building. :o)

Ok, now I have two heroes. Norm and you because you were that close to him!

Got something to say?
