Great job. I am going to make one for my step daughter and my son. I would like to know (since I have limited tools) what is one things I should make sure I have in my shop when doing this project. What where some of you hurdles you came across that I should keep an eye on?

Thanks

The curly maple on the posts looks great. My wife thought Maple was boring until I made a table for my office with a curly maple top. It now has become a viable wood!

Very nice modifications of the plan. Could you tell me how did you joint and lock the upper bed with the lower bed? did you used a stud?

I'm looking to do a mezzanine bed for my kid.

Thank you,

"Use it up, Where it outm make do or do with out." Yankee proverb. I got that from his Normness.....I quote it all the time.

Very nice beds. I love the maple for a girls room, and the curly posts are exceptional.

Your daughter and her "friends" look very pleased with their new bed.

Nice curly maple on the uprights. They'd make great banjo necks! :->
