I was just talking to a friend about the article on my little shop, above, and happened to notice for the first time the comment that "Mike(also from the Burgh)" posted. Regarding pegboard, my only two problems are a)taking a tool off the wall and having the peg hook fall off and disappear behind the workbench (sure, a little glue will fix that...but I change my mind too much) and b)it always seems like whenever you find the perfect, most feng shui position for your plier collection, there's a friggin stud in the way.

On another note, I've made progress since the article. I've since built the router table into my tablesaw, and I'm about halfway done with redoing the wall wit the miter saw. Change is good...and pics will come when finished.

I like the shop but it makes my own small spece seem big! I have recently moved and building "dreamshop II" in a small basement and thought about doing the same with pegboard walls on the studs. What about the pegboard is giving you second thoughts about that decision?

Hey thanks, and yeah, the problem with digging out the floor is I'd then have to convert my shop into a swimming pool from the flooding. On the other hand, that idea's got potential.

As for the Stellars, let's get something straight. It's "Stillers". And, having grown up in CT I was never much of a football fan. Whalers were where it was at. I could never sit still long enough to watch a game.

Hi Mike, nice shop.

And for the ceiling, the solution is ultra simple : digging the floor !
