Many thanks for all kind comments. That make me proud.
About the pulls yes, I made them. And the lining material is upholstery fabric which I got from local curtain store. Original color was red but seemed purple in some photos.
I inspired several different jewelry chest (box) projects while designing. If anyone wants to make this jewelry chest I will be glad to share the plan..

Beautiful job! Looks like the lack of tools didn’t hinder you at all. The use of the magnets is a nice touch that many wouldn’t have thought of, myself included. Hope my wife doesn’t see that, or I’ll be building one… Please let us know if the plans are available somewhere.

Very nice indeed, now do you have to fill it with jewelry because that can be the expensive part:( I love the look of the woods mixed with the lining. That brings up my question, what is the lining material-it doesn’t look to be felt or swade and it adds a nice rich accent. I will be building a jewelry case for my 6yr old daughter this winter and would really apreciate hearing where you found the purple-a little girls dream-but the color purple you found looks classy for when she grows. Nice job!
