And I met quite a number of great people that night at the bar. Though exhausting, the show was a great success and I had the pleasure of meeting a large number of woodworking greats from the industry. I even had a chance to cheer on a fellow Canadian, Mike Harris, who came in 3rd place in the Fine Woodworking One-Board Furniture Build-Off Contest (he lives just a two hour drive from my workshop). Norm Abrams, Scott Philips, Ernie Conover and so many others were in attendance at the show -- too many people to mention. Thanks again to Marc and Nicole for organizing the evening get-together. I really enjoyed meeting both of you and can see why your enterprise has been such a success. Keep up the great work.
