I hate to do it…….

But, I have no choice. I have to make a change to our RSS feed address. Why? Well, those of you who subscribe to our show in iTunes know that only the last 10 or 12 episodes are available there. This is because the RSS feed is just too darn big. Our feed contains videos AND all of our text posts. Unfortunately, RSS feeds have an upper limit for how much content they can hold before they break.

So does this affect you? If you are an email subscriber or you use a feed reader to get your Wood Whisperer updates, this AFFECTS YOU. So here’s what you need to do (very simple). Just re-subscribe using the following link: Subscribe to The Wood Whisperer by Email. Or you can subscribe anytime on the site itself by using the little subscription form. And don’t worry about unsubscribing to the old feed, I will be turning off the email notifications next week.

Now if you subscribe in a feed reader like Google Reader, the new feed address is: http://feeds.feedburner.com/tww

I apologize for the inconvenience. I will add this notice to the next few posts just to make sure everyone sees it. Thanks for your understanding as we try to streamline the system.

    Hey Marc,

    Way too many choices for me; i.e., podnova, newsgator, etc.

    As of now, I have the RSS icon on my bookmars toolbar in Firefox. Can I just change its Properties to /TWW at the end and keep on trucking?

    Worked perfectly with the Mozilla Live Bookmarks feature.

    Seamless and 30 seconds later I’m good to go.

    Hey Mark,
    Just found your website a few days ago…………..and have been hooked ever since!
    Working on a project in my shop and have been listening to the archives.It’s great to listen while I work in a one man shop,Talk radio is all about Politics these days.
    I like the Blend of Hobby-Amateur with the Craftsman/Woodworking Professional.

    Well, I check in just about everyday, but I think I’ll need to change my download address in Zune…can’t wait ’till my Zune breaks or I “accidentally” run over it., so I can get a new iPod!

    With the previous rss link, there was an icon for TWW in the Zune software. The new one doesn’t have a custom icon. Just the generic thing from the zune software.

    Hey Ken. I don’t have a Zune so forgive the stupid question, but you aren’t reading my text posts on there right? I assume you are just using it to watch videos. If that is correct, then there is no need for you to change the RSS address. The only people who need to change are email subscribers and folks who are using a traditional reader to read our posts. Anyone using iTunes or Zune Marketplace should not have to change a thing.
