Happy Tax Day!!

April 15, 2007 | Filed Under Blog

You know how I know its Tax Day? Because my birthday is on Tax Day. So whatcha buy me?

Just wanted to give you guys a quick update. The shop is pretty much done. Woohoo! AC is in, doors are complete, and insulation is done. Just a little touch up work here and there but nothing that should interfere with my work. Speaking of work, we are currently working on a big project in conjunction with FineWoodworking.com. This one’s gonna be pretty good so stay tuned for that. And while Im filming, I am going to try to squeeze in a regular episode of The Wood Whisperer. I haven’t been able to give the videos the proper attention they deserve, so I figure its better to wait until I can produce quality content, rather than just throw out some crap for the sake of having a weekly video. But its looking to be a very productive summer and I hope to have you guys along for the ride.

And I decided to add this little gem. One of my weaknesses is good barbecue. So my birthday dinner was at my favorite BBQ place. Nicole told me to smile for the picture in front of my giant plate of food. Never a dull moment at the Spagnuolo dinner table!

while you’re at it, how about a few picks of the new shop improvements? It seems your clamp rack has grown since we saw it last and majorly since episode 2!!

    Marc,

    Happy Birthday !

From here in northern Quebec, I see all this bad weather in the midwest USA….how is it in your neck of the wood ?
Keep it up…can’t wait for the new video !!!

Wow. Looks like I’m gonna have to do the King and His Castle Part II. :) Maybe a quick 5 minute tour of the changes would be in order.

No tools for my birthday. I think those days are over, unfortunately. When tools are actually a business expense, it kind of takes the fun out of it for the family. :)

Weather is pretty normal here Pierre.

Thanks for all the birthday wishes everyone. I appreciate it!

My guess on your age is 28 or 29. When you do your five minute video of your updated shop, please do a fly over. I’d like to see how you’ve set up. I’m almost done building my shop. Can’t wait!
