Featured in Woodworker West Magazine

November 24, 2007 | Filed Under Blog

We are very fortunate to be profiled in the most recent issue of Woodworker West Magazine. If you aren’t familiar with Woodworker West, it is a very popular bi-monthly publication out of Southern California and features regular articles by the likes of Ian Kirby and David Marks. It’s a great magazine and a great bargain. The regular price is is $12 for a year or $20 for 2-years. But if you enter ‘Wood Whisperer” into the Company space on the subscription form, you will receive a 1 yr subscription for $10 or 2 years for $18!! That is DIRT CHEAP!

Even though most of you already know who I am (I hope), a pdf version of the article is available below. Enjoy.

That IS cheap. I know I’m probably preaching to the choir here; but, I just did a little research on exactly how much I pay for subscription magazines. Let’s see, I take Wood magazine. I couldn’t find my subscription receipt, but I believe it was about $50 to $60 for three years. Woodwork magazine(my favorite) for three years at $46 and Fine Woodworking for three years at $84. I have had these subscriptions for about ten years or more. Now Fine Woodworking does have a great internet site for an additional fee(which I pay), but none of these give me direct interaction, where I can ask questions and get quick, if not immediate, answers. I gladly pay a premium for the information I get from this FREE site. I look forward to the DVDs and any other opportunity to support this invaluable shop tool.

Thankyou Marc and Nicole for a great year of information and connection to other great people I call woodworkers.

    Jason,

I guess it is not a coincidence then that Marc has been “e-Norm”-ously successful :)
