This is just a quick video of me assembling an Eagle America coping sled. I find this type of sled is not only helpful, but a necessity, when making frames and raised panel doors. Its a great jig for running those narrow pieces through a big router bit. Speaking of raised panel doors, check out Raising Arizona for a quick review of the process of making raised panel doors with router bits.

That was fantastico!! Takes me back to the days of sun and nights of Salsa dancing in Miami. “Say hello to my little friend, coping sled”
I knew that inside there was a Don Juan just waiting to break free.
Viva La WoodWhisperer!!
More salsa dancing!!!
That’s hilarious and a cool sled.
Let’s just say that you’re the only one that getting “THAT” excited about a coping sled, lol.
Nice mini.
Very nicely done. I really enjoy that you keep it real!
Lovely. It would have only been better with a Seinfeld ‘Pirate’ shirt.
Had me rolling on the floor as I learned a new assembly technique.
I’ll chip in a buck to buy Marc a puffy shirt, lol. Do they make puffy graphic t-shirts?
hmm… something tells me that you grew the mustache just for this video… wow great stuff
I wish I had a pencil thin mustache
The “Boston Blackie” kind
A two toned Ricky Ricardo jacket
And an autographed picture of Andy Devine
Now THERE’S something you’ll never see on the New Yankee Workshop!! B-)
Does Matt Vanderlist share a similar salsa passion with a tongue and groove plane?
I’d like to see the 2 of you dance …
That’s awesome.
A Salma Hayek cameo would have been nice, but still a cool video.
Eagle America should use that clip for their coping sled commercial.
I like the new look and I guess the sled is OK too. SALSA
Loved it, but it needed more hip shaking :). Next stop DWTS!
Mike
I love the new look, brought out the real you ;P
Are you sure that those once trusty 3m filters are working on your mask ?
Or maybe this is an early safety week video- what happens when you breathe too much varnish !
NIce assembly video, but why did you put those black-and-white clips of Prince into this video? :@)
Fernando-

Woo Hoo!!! I really enjoy that side of Marc…love the funnies you do!!! That also looks like a really nice coping sled!! :) ~Sunshine Gerl

The humorous side of Marc comes out again… We’ve missed you. :)
If you haven’t seen my humorous side lately you aren’t looking hard enough. ;)
Muy Gracioso, El pelo, bigote, y la camisa dieron el toque perfecto. Gracias por hacernos reir.
just when you thought you’ve seen it all. A man does the forbidden Tango dance with a coping sled.
Nice upgrade to the soundtrack; maybe I’ll play this whisper-mini at my next salsa party… azucar!
You one crazy guy
… because it’s fun to say, “SALSA!”
You’re new indian name is “Dances With Tools”……
That’s a lot better than mine: “Runs While Bleeding”.
Mark.. I just have to ask.. whats the name of the tune for this little coping-cabana ??
Thanks again for another great class session.
No idea. Its royalty-free material from Garageband.
My hero!!
Marc I just found you’re show as I am getting into building projects. I have spent several sleepless nights watching your podcasts. I can say without a shadow of a mustache, this was hands down the funniest thing I have ever seen! I don’t remember the sled but man OMG was that funny! I just got a PM 64 table saw and am hoping to start a bedroom in the arts and crafts style (stickly) I will look the American Eagle sled and I think Laugh every time I use it. I guess go to their site and get it? I just finished watching Duane’s trunk mini-sode and liked that nice job! Keep it us.
